Spring Time and Etsy Finds

Ok, So Spring has finally arrived! But I have to acknowedge the snow that we had on 3rd of April, here is a pic of what I woke up to on Tuesday morning, we got away with a light dusting of snow here, but I heard that other areas had quite a lot of the white stuff!

The weather here never fails to surprise me

Right, lets get back to spring time! The other week I was delighted to find that one of my rose rings had been featured in this beautiful Etsy treasury "Through A Rose Tinted Lens" To view please click on the image below

This treasury was curated by Scottish based  Etsy artist Pat Longmuir, owner of Etsy shop "PatsParaphernalia"  click HERE to visit her Etsy Shop which specialises in polymer clay (I LOVE her range of hand made polymer clay buttons) and needle felting. To keep with the spring flower theme, I am posting a pic of her beautiful needle felted rose brooch

While I'm on the subject of Etsy finds, the same day that I discovered Pat's shop I was also lucky enough to discover this wonderful Etsy shop Lincara Vintage (click HERE to visit shop) Specialising in vintage costume jewellery, evening bags and powder compacts. This is a lovely shop full of vintage treasures and every time I visit it there are new items listed. I was also delighted to discover that the shop owner is local to me, because Etsy is so vast I always get excited when I find shops that are based in Scotland, but even more so when the shop owner is in my area (Stirling)! Here are some goodies from Lincara vintage...

Sticking with the spring theme, more roses! Click image to view listing.

Well that's all for now, enjoy checking out the above Etsy links, and lets hope the snow stays away!

Etsy is great for discovering amazing art and artists and I am now hooked on curating Treasuries for that reason! I loved finding your work on there, and the fact that you are also Scottish, so was thrilled that you wanted to feature my shop as part of your blog. It is good to know that you are there!
